The International Football Heritage Agency was started back in 2007. Whilst growing up in London, England Madalitso Mkoloma played in the Sunday Youth Football League, Youth Academy Football System, Semi- Professional and Professional Football in the English League System.
Madalitso Mkoloma and Ricardo Pascal set up a young football team playing in the England Pyramid Football league system called North Kensington F.C. The aim was to give aspiring young talented footballers of multi-cultural backgrounds the opportunity to develop and progress their football whilst giving them the opportunity to play football at the highest level. No level nor honour can be more aspiring than being given the opportunity to represent their country in an international football match. With the ambition to play football at the highest level, Madalitso Mkoloma was our first player who had the opportunity to represent the Barbados National Football Team. Born to Barbadian and Malawian parents in London England, Madalitso was presented with an opportunity to play international football whilst playing semi-professional football in England. With the 2008 World Cup qualifiers a few months away, Madalitso joined up with the Barbados squad, playing in friendly matches against Trinidad & Tobago and an England C team, whilst remaining in the squad for games against Bermuda and the defining game against the USA. Following this opportunity, Madalitso went on to have trials with Luton Football Club and play in a number of matches.
Sebastian Philogene, and Daniel Joseph both born in England were invited to an Antiguan and Barbuda training camp and given the opportunity to train and play matches for their respective country. Sebastian the younger of the two flew to the Caribbean and represented Antigua and Barbuda in the Under 20’s Digicel Caribbean Cup.
International Football Heritage Agency strives hard to bring these opportunities to all football players whose family’s heritage is different to their country of birth. To experience playing football at the highest level, in the biggest football competitions in the world is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
